WHO I AM
I am a licensed clinical social worker based in New York City. I have been in practice for over fifteen years.
After a decade in the corporate world, I realized that my skills were better served helping people lead more fulfilling lives. In 2002, I obtained my masters in social work from New York University. I continued to advance my skills by completing a four year post-graduate training program in psychoanalysis and psychodynamic psychotherapy. While treating clients, I also became the Clinical Director of the Training Institute for Mental Health, a position I held for nine years. In addition, I completed a two year certificate program in psychodynamic clinical supervision. I completed the Integrative Trauma Certificate Program at NIP (National Institute for the Psychotherapies) in Spring 2019.
In my sessions, I use an eclectic approach of psychodynamic, cognitive and body-focused techniques to create a personalized approach for each client. My goal is to create a non-judgemental environment in which we can collaborate to make the changes that you want.
